I love this book! The photo quality is excellent, with clear and easy to follow pictures of each step of the weaves.

The instructions are what I really appreciate, though. Every time I want to weave byzantine, I have to go back to some old instructions I got online a few years ago, and then sometimes I’d still mess it up and turn it into a box chain by mistake.

Well, no more! I checked out the byzantine instructions in Chained, and true-to-form for the other weaves I’ve learned from Rebeca’s instructions, the narrative made complete sense to me. I was able to whip out an entire necklace in no time, without even thinking about it. I’m excited to try some of the more advanced projects.

Yay! I’m so happy for your success at conquering Byzantine, Hannah! And so glad that you love the book. :-)

I love your book I bought really needing the 4 in 1 weave!
I cant find it no where, it say look in the byzantine I cant see how to make European 4 in 1? SUZY THANK YOU

  4. Rebeca says:

Suzy – sorry for the confusion. The Byzantine weave is derived from the European 4-in-1, but I don’t cover how to make that weave in the book. There are instructions on Blue Buddha’s website – http://www.bluebuddhaboutique.com/supplies/instruction/view.php?id=mesh-rosettes or you can look on M.A.I.L. (www.mailleartisans.org) for instructions as well. Happy weaving!
